We invite everyone connected with St. Catharine Academy to participate in the Annual Fund or to contribute to SCA in a concrete way. For alumnae, this is a chance to give something back to their school. For parents, it is an opportunity to recognize the value of SCA in their daughter's life. Gifts of Securities Gifts of appreciated stock offer significant tax savings. To arrange for the transfer of securities, please contact Angela Cabassa at 718-882-2882, Ext. 153. Matching Gifts Many employers have matching gift programs to encourage charitable giving among current and retired employees. If your or your spouse's company does, it could double or triple the value of your gift to SCA. Honor & Memorial Gifts You may make a gift in honor or in memory of a respected loved one in your family, a friend, a classmate, a favorite teacher, or other member of the school community. Tree of Mercy The Tree of Mercy is a permanent recognition wall with 200 inscription leaves. Leaves can be purchased for $300 in honor or memory of a person, a significant anniversary or an accomplishment. Financial Assistance and Scholarships Contributions support student tuition assistance for those qualified students who are unable to attend SCA because of financial constraints on family income. Endowed Scholarship funds support academic scholarships. A gift of $250,000 supports an endowed scholarship. |
