Guidance
Guidance Services
SCA has a dedicated guidance program. Throughout their four years of high school, students have access to regular guidance classes and opportunities to meet individually with their counselor. Counselors are also available for parent conferences. Grades 6–12 have guidance classes.
College/Career Resources
St. Catharine Academy offers a comprehensive college guidance program. The cornerstone of this program is a dedicated college advisor who works with each student to identify colleges that fit their interests and abilities. All students have access to:
• Naviance—this program is the gold standard in web-based college planning
• Individual meetings with the College Advisor
• College representatives through college fairs and open houses
• Small group meetings with college representatives who come to our campus
• Assistance with the essay-writing process
• Assistance with financial aid applications
• Mentorships and internships in association with our Alumnae Office.
Mentoring Program
Our alumnae are active members of the SCA family, serving as mentors to assist SCA students in achieving personal, college, and professional success.
